With over 15 years of experience, 2 Guys and a Trailer, Inc. is your trusted moving partner based in Bourbonnais, IL. Over time, we saw many of our moving customers struggle with clutter, unwanted items, or bulky furniture they no longer needed. That’s why we launched our sister company, 2 Guys and a Junk Trailer—a full-service junk removal and dumpster rental business. Our Story
Our story started years ago when our founder, Todd, had a close friend who owned an Amish furniture store and didn’t have time to do deliveries. Todd took it upon himself to help him out and started doing deliveries on Saturdays for his customers while still working his normal job. People were in constant need of his services and excessively calling his friend’s store asking if Todd could do deliveries or help move, so he decided to commit to his business full time and established 2 Guys and a Trailer. For over fifteen years, we’ve been helping Kankakee County and the surrounding areas with all of their moving needs and are trusted across the country for our quality services.
We specialize in professional local moving, long-distance, and office moving services so we can be there for our customers who can’t do it all themselves or would rather not deal with the hassle. We’re locally owned and operated and a fully licensed and insured mover in all 48 landlocked states. We have over 15 years of experience and the knowledge and expertise we’ve gained in those years as well as our fast turn-around times set us apart and ahead of our competitors in the industry. It’s our mission to make the whole process as streamlined and efficient for you as possible. We’ll make sure everything is properly secured and stored while in transit so you can trust your items will be in the same shape as when they were packed or moved. We take great pride in treating everything we move like it’s our own, and we never cut any corners in making sure everything is done efficiently and effectively.

What really stood out was how professional they were when something completely unexpected happened. We scheduled the move on an incredibly windy day, and during the move a large tree branch actually fell on their vehicle! Thankfully, everyone was safe, but what could have easily turned into a chaotic situation was handled with such calmness and professionalism by their entire team. They never missed a beat and still made sure our move was taken care of.

From start to finish, their communication was excellent. They arrived exactly on time, were highly organized, and worked incredibly well as a team. I was amazed by how fast they got everything safely loaded, transported, and unloaded. If you want a moving crew that is punctual, professional, and efficient, ask for them!
